R&D Project Lead

We are looking for an R&D Project Lead to join our innovation team. The selected candidate will bridge advanced technological research and competitive funding opportunities, working hand in hand with our R&D Director to define the company's technological roadmap and materialize it into successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of the latest innovations in computer vision, AI, robotics and automation
• Identify technological development opportunities aligned with our strategy
• Propose innovative project ideas that add value to our strategic line
• Write high-quality technical proposals for competitive calls (Horizon Europe, CDTI, AEI, red.es, regional calls)
• Design strategic consortiums with complementary partners
• Coordinate budget preparation and project timeline planning
• Create and maintain strategic relationships with complementary companies for consortium formation
• Identify technological and industrial partners for national and international collaborative projects
• Participate in sector events and innovation networks to expand our network of collaborators
• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure proposals are innovative and viable
• Define execution requirements for approved projects
• Act as a link between strategic vision and technical implementation

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading R&D proposal writing and working with our priority technologies
• Deep knowledge in computer vision, artificial intelligence, robotics, UAVs and automation systems
• Demonstrable experience in European and national competitive calls
• Advanced English level (minimum C1)
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical training
• Ability to translate technical complexity into compelling narratives
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
• Networking skills and professional relationship building
• Innovative mindset and constant curiosity
