CLARA introduces an innovative technical approach centred around an AI agent that orchestrates the entire sorting process.
The system leverages Vision Language Models to analyse sorting requirements, select appropriate pre-trained models, and configure them for specific tasks – all guided through a natural language interface.
Operating locally on edge computing platforms like the Jetson AGX Orin, CLARA ensures real-time processing while maintaining adaptability across different camera systems and plastic types.
A hybrid tracking approach combines traditional computer vision with deep learning to maintain reliability across various operating conditions.
