Safety system design with collaborative robot, with collaborative gripper design and equipment programming according to safety regulations
Design, manufacturing, wiring, and programming of a line consisting of a 6m-long pallet conveyor system with 90° transfers, three KUKA robots with WEBER screwdrivers, a machine vision system for defect detection, one KUKA IIWA collaborative robot for working alongside people without safety barriers, an RFID line traceability system, a Schneider PLC, and two Schneider touchscreens.
The complete system communicates via Ethernet IP, AS-I bus, Modbus TCP IP, and three RS232 serial communication ports with the screwdrivers.
The safety system was designed with a collaborative robot, a collaborative gripper design, and equipment programming in accordance with safety regulations.
