LIPTACON's main objective is the research on advanced technologies to increase the serial production rates of satellite components through a new innovative and disruptive concept of production line for a critical subsystem for satellites, the Star Tracker. This will lead to an increase in efficiency and a reduction in the error rate at all stages of the production process, improving operator training and guiding them during assembly and inspection operations. The implementation of these technologies in this relevant area of the space sector will allow to establish a leadership in the advanced strategic positioning within the Spanish and European space industry. It will also allow the implementation of solutions based on Extended Reality, integration of intelligent conversational guidance and Artificial Vision, currently inexistent in the sector, where Rovimática leads the research in algorithms and disruptive Artificial Vision systems to ensure the quality of satellite components.
