Automatic machine vision system for quality control in the bottling process

● Introduction

Project information

Initiative co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism under file number TSI-100103-2014-135.

In this project an intelligent system for quality control in bottling lines through artificial vision systems and advanced automation systems will be developed. The system will work autonomously detecting format changes, labeling, cap, etc.

The project has been co -financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2013-2016, with the file number assigned to the TSI-1003-2014-135 project.

The presented system will be composed of the following elements:

  • Machine vision cameras

  • LED lighting systems for the detection of control parameters

  • High-resolution optics

  • Industrial mini PC

  • Industrial software for image processing and control and automation system

  • Hinged belt conveyor with gear motor

  • Guiding units

  • Linear units

  • Control panel

  • Safety systems

  • PLC

  • Communications

  • Touch screen

  • Ejection system

  • Pneumatic cabinet
